Eleanor Gott Oursler

Eleanor G. Oursler of Jessup, Md. passed away on Sept. 8, 2025.

She was born May 14, 1937, to Richard Alva Gott and Dorothy Louise Howard Gott of Gambrills, Md.

Eleanor was a member of Wesley Chapel Methodist Church in Jessup where she served as treasurer. She had been a member of Esther Chapter #47 Order of Eastern Star in Savage, Md.

She retired from Maryland State Service as the Finance Officer for Howard County DSS Prior to her many years with DSS she was the office manager for several private companies and a stay at home mom.

She and her husband enjoyed camping and especially liked fall trips to Jekyll Island, GA.

She is survived by her two sons Richard Charles Oursler and his wife Janet Oursler.Jeffrey Scott Oursler and his wife Michele Oursler. Grandchildren Sabrina Clever, Jennifer Oursler (Jeremy), Ashley Minor (Jaime), Christopher Oursler. Great grandchildren Aiden Clever, Taryn Clever, Ford Fritts, Gwenyth Fritts. Nephew John Spiker Jr.(Heather) and son Justice

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother and sister, her son Thomas C. Oursler Sr. and her husband of 63 years Charles L. Oursler Jr.
