Elise C. Colter

Elise Colter, age 88, passed away on May 10, 2021 in Catonsville, Maryland. She was born on February 6, 1933 to William and Elizabeth Tolson. Mrs. Colter was a member of St. Mary of the Mills Church in Laurel, Maryland and worked for the Department of Corrections for many years. She enjoyed reading, puzzle books and the shooting range.

Survivors include her 5 children, Andre, Donnie (Jeffrey), Veronica (Thomas Sr.), Samuel Jr (Melvina), James III (Evelyn); 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 1 brother and 3 sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 20 from 11 AM to 12 PM at the Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A., 313 Talbott Avenue, Laurel, MD 20707 with a Graveside Service immediately following at Maryland National Memorial Park at 12:30 PM.
