Ernest Lee "Pete" White

Ernest Lee "Pete" White was born April 15, 1951 to James and Estelle White in Mobile, Alabama.  He was one of eight children born to the couple. He  is preceded in death by his mother, father and sister Martha.

Ernest was a bright and intelligent man who loved to travel, technology and sports. He joined the Air Force and served honorably for 24 years while satisfying his love of travel and making lifelong friendships. Following his time in the Air Force he did contract work for the Pentagon before finally using his skills to work for the Peace Corps.

He was an avid fisherman and bowler. He enjoyed laughing and playing cards with his friends. He was a quiet and big hearted person who gave with love and generosity to all those who he kept close to his heart.

He leaves behind to remember him his daughter Tiffani, a sister Barbara,  brothers James, Harold, Jesse, Willis Jerry, a host of nieces and nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, if desired, donations may be made in Mr. White's name to the National Veterans Foundation or the American Cancer Society .
