Estella Elizabeth Hicks

On Friday, December 09, 2011, Estella Elizabeth Hicks went home to her Lord. She was 77. Mrs. Hicks was born in Texarkana, TX to the late TC and Sylvia Davis. She was an educator, working for the Washington, DC public schools for 21 years. Mrs. Hicks is survived by her daughter, Johnnye Yvette Hicks; her son Marthell (Ailene Inez Rocha-Hicks) Hicks, Jr.; sisters Theresa Moore, Essie Ann Valentine, Patricia Evans; brothers RC Davis, Roy Thomas, David Thomas and Robert Thomas, Jr. She is also survived by her grandchildren Curtis Nathaniel Rocha, Marthell Hicks, III and Sofia Inez Hicks. Mrs. Hicks was predeceased by her husband Marthell Hicks, Sr., her son Marvin Hicks and her brother James Lee Davis.
