Esther "Penny" Marie Poole

Esther Marie ( Penny ) Poole, 80, of Burtonsville, Maryland Passed away April 11, 2024.

She was born September 27, 1943 to Stanley Harris Davis and Virginia Marie Carter in Washington D.C.

Esther retired from The Georgetown part of Hap Holladay Corp where she started with Chevy Chase House. She was a Director of Environmental Services. She loved her job and all the people she helped. She also enjoyed her bowling and her bingo.

She is survived by her husband; Robert Poole, her children; Boogie ( Chrissy ), Anita, Barbara ( Phil ) , Patty ( Bobby ), Michael ( Jesse ) and Robert ( Danielle ), 16 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, a number of nieces and nephews, 2 Sisters; Linda and Wendy, and special friend; Ruth ( Thelma ).

She was preceded in death by her daughter; Ginnie, Son in Law; Robert Bobby Byer and brother; Butch Harter.

Her body was cremated and family will hold a private celebration of life at a later date.  Everyone will be made aware through Facebook invite please RSVP.
