Esther O. Tucker

Esther O. Tucker (Sis) of Laurel passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2014. She is survived by four children, Bennie J. Northcraft and husband Scott, Nancy L. Kissner and husband Ed., Patricia A. Rogers and husband Vince, and Howard E. Tucker, Jr., and husband Patrick, 10 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Howard E. Tucker, Sr., parents Harry and Iva Bell Boswell, Sr., 3 brothers, Clarence and Joe Steelman and Harry (Oscar) Boswell, Jr., and one sister, Betty Butler.
Esther worked for 7-11 Corporation from 1988-2012. In her spare time she enjoyed spending time with her family, working in the yard, and going to Ocean City every year with her children. While in Ocean City, she loved going to Delaware to shop at the outlets and going to the casino to play the slots. In her earlier years she enjoyed bowling and swimming. Mom always loved her soap operas and would rarely miss them. We will always remember the good times we had with her and the love she shared with all of us and her friends, and we can't forget the fun Christmas parties she and Dad would put on for us every year.
