Estic D. (Butch) Tempesta

Estic “Butch” Dominick Tempesta, 73 of Laurel, MD passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018 surrounded by his family. Butch was born in 1945 to Margaret (Virginia) Peery and Estic (Pat) Tempesta.

A Born and raised in Laurel, Butch graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business from the University of Maryland, 1969. Butch married his longtime sweetheart Marie Krause in 1971 and together they raised three children. Butch was a Veteran of the United States Army and was stationed to Heidelberg, Germany.

Butch returned to Laurel and began a career in Sales until he retired in 2011. After retirement, he helped care for his two youngest grandchildren Tyler and Bella before they were school age. He enjoyed spending time with his family, going out to eat, and doing crafts and puzzles with his grandchildren. He will be fondly remembered for his time spent watching the Laurel Fireworks, the Main Street Festival, and Chuckie Cheese with his family and grandchildren. He loved his family, Laurel, classic cars, and The Washington Redskins.

Butch is survived by his wife, Ella (Marie) Tempesta, his three children, Maria (Chrissy) Bookhultz, Richard (Andy) Tempesta, and Natalie Albanesi and her husband Joe; seven grandchildren; Bella, Tyler, Justin, Steven, Haley, Sophia, and Hannah, five great grandchildren; Harper, Henry, Juliet, Piper, and Emily.
