Ethel Veronica Haslup

Ethel Veronica Haslup, wife of the late Emory P. Haslup, passed away on June 5, 2013. Mrs. Haslup was born in Laurel on March 3, 1917 to Frederick and Louise Lewis. She was a life-long resident of Laurel, a member of St. Philip's Episcopal Church, a member of the Laurel Women's Club and worked as an accountant for People's Hardware in Washington, DC. Mrs. Haslup is survived by her nephews David P. Haslup, Sr. and Bill (Jan) Watts and a niece Sharon Watts. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 22, 10 am in the chapel of the Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A., 313 Talbott Ave., Laurel. Inurnment will follow in Ivy Hill Cemetery.
