Ethel L. Seibel

Ethel “Joe” L. Seibel, 94, passed away on December 16, 2018 at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore after a brief illness.  She was born October 13, 1924 to Amos and Lula Ayton in Beltsville, MD.  Joe loved to go boating, fishing, playing games, and scaring people.  She enjoyed going to Atlantic City and to the dog and horse track with her husband.  She is survived by her two daughters, Sonya L. Faulconer and Darlene E. Strohecker, two stepdaughters, Sandra Wright and Maureen Minnick, eighteen grandchildren, numerous great grand and great, great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her father, mother, two brothers, three sisters, her husband, John (Buck) Seibel, two sons, Thomas (Tom) Cockrell and Rodney (Rock) Cockrell, and a granddaughter, Stephanie.  Visitation will be Tuesday, December 18th from 2-4pm and 6-8pm.  Services will be held Wednesday, December 19th at 10am at the Donaldson Funeral Home Chapel, 313 Talbott Ave, Laurel, MD 20707.
