Mr. Everett "Ed" Burke, of Ashton, MD passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2014. He honorably served in the US Coast Guard where he retired from in 1967. He was a member of American Legion 217 in College Park, MD, the USCG Combat Veterans Association, the Elks, and the VFW. He was the son of the late Eva C. Hamilton, and brother of the late Marshall Hamilton. He is survived by his loving wife Nancy S. Burke, sister Nancy Scherzer and husband John of West Melbourne, FL, many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Interment with Military Honors will take place at Arlington National Cemetery at a future date to be announced.
