F. Harrison Cowell

F. Harrison Cowell, III passed away on Sunday, November 15, 2015.
Born to Frank and Virginia Cowell in Riverdale, Maryland, Harrison graduated from Northwestern High School and Prince George's Community College. An avid and varied collector, Harrison had a passion for historic paraphernalia. Harrison enjoyed dining with friends at local restaurants and loved visiting the family farm in Rapidan, Virginia.
After 30 years of service, Harrison retired from Maryland National Capital Park and Planning Commission in 2001.
He is survived by his brother, Churchill Cowell (DeeDee); three nieces, Rebecca Daley (Michael), Anna Cowell and Sarah Berard (Brett); a great-nephew, Evan and a great-niece, Aubrie. He was preceded in death by his parents and older brother, Willis Cowell.
A memorial service will be held at University Baptist Church, 3515 Campus Drive, College Park, MD 20740 on Monday, November 23rd at 12PM. Visitation from 11:00 AM until time of the service.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to a local hospice organization or a charity of your choice.
