Florence K. Doughty

Florence K. Doughty “Flossie” 1932-2021, 88 of Savage, MD passed away at her home in Savage, MD on May 30, 2021. Born in Savage in 1932, she was a lifelong resident of the town. The daughter of the late Hurnie H. Whitehead and Beulah M. Reeley Whitehead.  Wife of the late Curtis Q. Doughty. Surviving her are her son Brian K. Doughty (Nichelle), daughter Carolyn B. Roach (Andy) of Austin, TX , daughter Erin K. Bartholomew (David Nathan) of Hampstead, MD, 3 granddaughters and 1 step grandson. Her sister Gladys Vollmerhausen of Savage, MD.  Her sister in law Catherine Culver of Harmons, MD and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Hurnie H. Whitehead Jr.

A memorial service will be held at the Savage United Methodist Church, 9050 Baltimore, Street, Savage, Maryland 20763 on Saturday, July 10 at 2:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers we ask that you consider a donation to the Savage United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society.
