Florence L. Salem

Florence L. Salem, born in MN and longtime resident of Laurel, Maryland died at home Monday, November 14, 2016. She was 85.
She was preceded in death by their daughter Mary. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Samuel J. Salem, son Eric and daughters, Jane, Kristine and Suzanne, 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
She traveled the world for her husband's work and later for pleasure. During these travels, she enjoyed talking with as many people as possible. Florence also loved gardening, reading, watching baseball games and tennis.
She was a graeat wife and mother and will be sorely missed. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St Jude's Children Hospital, one of many charities that was close to Florence's heart.
