Frances Irene Gordon

February 12, 1950 – February 16, 2018

Frances Gordon entered heaven on Friday, February 16th after a lengthy illness.  She is survived by three siblings, William, Edward, and Jenny; and her nephew William Campbell Jr., his wife, Donna, and their daughter Caitlin. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Frank.  Frances had a career in financial management at the Metro Credit Union, and later as the bookkeeper for Bethany Community Church.

Frances and Frank had a love story for the ages.  They married each other and divorced in the 1970’s.  After living separately for 30 years, they married each other a second time on June 4, 2005. They had almost 10 beautiful years together before Frank died on Christmas Eve, 2014.  Now, they are together again.

A memorial service to celebrate Frances’ life will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 24, 2018, at Bethany Community Church, 15720 Riding Stable Road, Laurel, MD 20707.  Memorial gifts may be made to the church at the same address. Interment will be private at a later date.
