Frances Lorraine (Butler) Grier, age 73, of Laurel, MD died on February 2, 2012. Born August 14, 1938. Daughter of the late Mary Catherine and Robert Preston Butler. Loving wife to Philip Lamar Grier, Jr. whom she married on January 19, 1959. Mother of David Alan Grier of Nashville, TN and Lisa Lorraine Perna of Hollywood, MD; grandmother of Alyssa Nicole Perna and Kristi Lorraine Perna; sister of Mary Smoot, Barbara Johnson, Johnny Butler, Edie Cross, Catherine Smith, Laura Jones, Susan Glidden, and the late William, Cecil, Charles, Emily, and Patrick Butler.
Frances graduated from Bladensburg High School in 1956.
Her greatest joy in life was her grandchildren, family and friends. May she rest in peace.
