Frances L. Lee

Frances L. Lee, a lifelong resident of Laurel, passed away at the Laurel Regional Hospital on Thursday, March 28, 2013. Mrs. Lee was born in Laurel to Vernon and Irene Lishear on February 9, 1940. Frances drove a school bus for Prince George's County for 14 years and was an active foster parent, caring for more than a dozen children, for over 20 years. Mrs. Lee is survived her loving husband, of 54 years, Charles C. Lee. She is also survived by her children Teter, Midgett (Rob), Michael (Valerie), Gary (Annette), Ralph and Frank; her siblings Nancy, Janet, Mary Jane, Connie, Gloria Jean, Darlene and Gregory; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Warren "Snooki" Lishear and her grandson Bryan Parlette. A visitation will be held on Monday, April 1 at the Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 5845 Richmond Highway, Suite 800, Alexandria, VA 22303.
