Francis Alfred O'Grady

Francis Alfred O'Grady of Laurel MD passed away on his 87th birthday, June 11, 2012. Born in New York City in 1925, Frank was commissioned in the Navy during WWII. He retired from NASA Goddard Space Flight Center as a Civil Engineer in 1986. He bred race horses and enjoyed going to the races, watching old movies, and visiting with family.
He is survived by his brother Joseph E. O'Grady Jr., his wife of 59 years Anne O'Grady, 2 daughters: Dianne and Eileen, 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 16 at 4pm, at Our Savior Lutheran Church located at 13611 Laurel Bowie Road (Rt 197) in Laurel. Arrangements were made by Donaldson Funeral Home of Laurel, MD.
