Francis Anthony Waigand

Francis "Frank" Anthony Waigand, 86, of Laurel passed away on May 24, 2013 at Laurel Regional Hospital. He was born April 24, 1927, and served on the USS Enterprise CV6 in WWII. He is the father of 5, had 2 brothers who also served in WWII, and a sister. Frank grew up in Riverdale, MD.
Frank is survived by his wife Joan; brother Fred; 2 daughters Donna and Patty; son Robert; 2 step-sons Tim and Mark; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a body mechanic and golfing was his passion.
