FRANK WILLIAM BINDER
Frank W. Binder peacefully passed away on Friday, February 28, 2014. He was born at Sibley Hospital in Washington, DC on January 22, 1934 and lived most of his life in Laurel, Maryland. Frank is the beloved husband of his high school sweetheart, Sara Jean Luber. He was a devoted father to Pamela (Roy) Scalco of Rio Rancho, NM and Nancy (Bill) Mossburg of Kingsland, GA. His son, Frank Binder, Jr., preceded him in death. Frank had four grandchildren, Traci (Patrick) Shaw, Emily (Harrison) Brantley, Lindsay Scalco, and Evan Mossburg; and three great-grandchildren, Riley and Reagan Shaw, and Greyson Brantley. Frank served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was an active member of the Elks Lodge #2283, American Legion Post 60, and Knights of Columbus #2203. Visitation will be held March 5 from 2-4 and 7-9 at Donaldson Funeral Home, Laurel, MD. Services will be held on March 6 at 11 a.m. at Donaldson's and interment at Ivy Hill Cemetery.
