Frank W. Bopp passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, July 17, 2014. He was born in Iowa and has lived in the area for over 50 years. He and his wife Thelma married in Blessed Sacrament Parish in Washington, DC on May 6, 1961. Mr. Bopp had a long career in the federal government having worked for the Dept. of the Army in mapping services and did some photography work for them, which he loved. He was founding member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Laurel serving as an usher for the 5pm mass, and working on the Finance, and Building and Maintenance committee's. He was also a judge at the K of C sponsored annual "Keep Christ in Christmas" program for the children of the parish He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Thelma P. Bopp, a brother Walter in Nebraska, and three nephews.
