Furman Banks Walker
February 17, 1958 — March 25, 2017
F. Banks Walker, 59, of Laurel passed away Saturday, March 25, 2017.
He was born in 1958 to Lenny (Crowder) and the late Furman Walker in Roanoke, VA.
He is survived by his loving companion Mary Underwood, children Lauren Walker (Brennan) and Garrett Walker, children’s mother Marie Walker, mother Lenny Walker, brother Keith Walker (Chrissy), sister Lori Rudolph (Jack), many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins, and dear friends Jack and Marie Fowler and Mark and Lee-Anne Boyce.
He was employed with ASRC at Goddard Space Center as a Principal Engineer. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and riding his motorcycle and hunting. Banks was a member of the Laurel Elks Lodge #2283 and member of the VFW auxiliary.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday April 2, 2017 at the Laurel Elks Lodge #2283 at 2:00 p.m. Food donations are welcome.
