George Kuno Aleksei

George Kuno Aleksei, 71, of Laurel, MD, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2026, at Oak Manor at Autumn Lake. He was born on October 2, 1954, in Fort Meade, MD. He is the son of Kuno Aleksei and Carol Margaret Aleksei (née Albertie). He graduated from Arundel Senior High School in 1972.

Mr. Aleksei married Sandra (née Morris) Aleksei, his wife of 30 years. Mr. Aleksei worked independently as a construction worker and as a delivery driver. Besides his wife, Mr. Aleksei is survived by his son, Wyeth George Aleksei; his sisters Benita Steele and Jouette Kahan; his brothers-in-law Robert Steele and Bruce Kahan; his nephews Alex Kahan and Aaron Kahan. Preceding George’s death are his Grandfather Wyeth Albertie and Grandmother Madge Albertie; his father Kuno and mother Carol; his father-in-law George Morris; his niece Ilana Kahan. Besides boating, you could find Mr. Aleksei traveling across states to different thoroughbred horse racetracks. A small private celebration of life will be held on a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Heart Association.
