George Joseph Cavanaugh
August 28, 1923 — September 2, 2013
On Monday, September 2, 2013 George J. Cavanaugh of Laurel, Maryland; Beloved husband of Rita J. Cavanaugh, loving father of Mary K. Wastler (Steven), John D. Cavanaugh and adored granddaughter, Morgan P. Cavanaugh.
Served in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II from May of 1943 to April of 1946.
Relatives and friends may call on Sunday, September 8th between 2-4 and 7-9pm at Donaldson Funeral Home, Laurel. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, September 9th at 10:00am at St. Mary of the Mills Parish, Laurel. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Silver Spring.
