George Kostas

We are deeply saddened to announce that George Kostas passed away on January 30, 2024 after a long illness. He was born on August 6, 1954 in Boston, Massachusetts to his parents, Constantin “Charlie” and Paskalia “Polly” Kostas. He was raised in Braintree, Massachusetts and later moved to Bowie, Maryland with his family. He went to Bowie High School and later attended the University of Maryland. He worked in publications and as a business owner in the field of graphics. He had a wide range of interests that included astronomy, photography, and travel to name a few. George is survived by his wife of 42 years, Gail, son Andy, brother Christopher (Betty) as well as many beloved cousins and lifelong friends. He is predeceased by his sister Jeanne Kostas and half-brother Frank Kostas. He will truly be missed.
