George William Peterson

George William Peterson, 72, passed away on November 28, 2014 at his residence in Laurel. He was born on September 15, 1942 in Washington, D.C. to the late George W. and Grace Peterson. He served in the U.S. Army and in Vietnam. He retired from NSWC in 2002 and later returned to work as a contractor. He enjoyed working on his cars, his motorcycle and doing yard work. He also enjoyed doing jobs around the house, his family describes him as "Mr. Fix it".
George is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years Nadine Peterson; loving children Bradley William Peterson and his wife Maura, Kimberly Ann Peterson, and Kerry Lynn Vela and her husband Juan. He is also survived by his precious grandchildren Reid William and Rory Patricia Peterson, and Braelyn Grace Vela.
