George Charles Trimble passed away on Friday January 9, 2015 at the Gilchrist Hospice Care of Howard County.
Mr. Trimble was born in Queens, NY on September 27, 1928 to the late George C. Trimble and the late Helen (nee Boehle) Trimble. George was raised in the Queens, NY area and after graduating from high school joined the United States Army. George spent over 20 years in the Army, retiring in 1966. After retiring from the Army, George went to work for the National Security Agency at Ft. Meade, MD. George spent another 20 years working at NSA before retiring from Government service. In his retirement years he ran an antique stamp and envelope business. George also enjoyed gardening and even served on the landscaping committee at this condominium association.
Mr. Trimble was preceded in death by his first wife Lucille Trimble and is survived by his second wife Shirley Freto, his three children; Karen Trimble Alliaume of Naperville, IL, Mark Trimble of Washington, DC and Paul Trimble of Alexandria, VA. He is also survived by his three grandchildren; Hannah Trimble, Alex Trimble and Danny Alliaume.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at the Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A., 313 Talbott Avenue, Laurel, MD 20707, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and again from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Mills Roman Catholic Church, 114 St. Mary’s Place, Laurel, MD on Friday, January 16, 2015 beginning at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville, MD.
