Geraldine P. Grainger

Geraldine P. Grainger, beloved wife of 52 years to Harold Grainger, passed away on October 30, 2013. Mrs. Grainger was a book keeper for the United Postal Workers Union and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Laurel. She was born on August 12, 1924 to William and Flossia Walker. Geraldine is also survived by her children Donnice P. (Jose) Calderon, Donald S. (Frances) Parnell and daughter-in-law Margaret Parnell; her grandchildren Melinda, Melissa and Katherine and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A., 313 Talbott Ave., Laurel, MD. A funeral service will be held at the First Baptist Church of Laurel, 15000 First Baptist Lane, Laurel, on Monday beginning at 10:30am. Interment will be in Fort Lincoln Cemetery. The family asks that memorial donations be made to the charity of your choice.
