Gertrude B. Eicher

Gertrude B. Eicher “Trudy”, a resident of Laurel for 38 years passed away on March 13, 2015 at her residence. She was born in Atlantic City, NJ on October 13, 1939 to the late Rollin G. and Bereniece Mooney. She was raised in Altoona, PA and graduated from Altoona Catholic High School. Her last employment was with Loyola Federal Savings and Loan for 21 years as an office supervisor in Laurel. For many years, she enjoyed going dancing with her husband and friends at Blobs Park.
In addition to her parents Trudy was preceded in death by her brother Frederick R. Mooney. She is survived by her husband of 55 years Daryl E. Eicher; two sons Daryl E. Eicher, Jr of San Jose, CA and Michael P. Eicher of Laurel, MD; three grandchildren Sara M. , Jonathan E. , and Sophia Kim Eicher of San Jose, CA.
