Gertrude "Trudie" Mary Savage

Gertrude “Trudie” Mary Savage, 78, of Jessup passed away July 19, 2019.

She was born in 1941 to Helen Hermann (Gerrity) in Pennsylvania.

She retired after a long career as an insurance executive and many years of active union participation. She also served on the board of her cherished community, Asbury Woods, where she resided as an original owner.  In her later years she enjoyed visiting with her neighbors, took great pride in maintaining her home, loved the Washington Redskins, and still made amazing lasagna

She is survived by her brother, Frank Hermann.

She was preceded in death by her beloved sisters, Patricia Kovalkoski and Helen Blaker, and her dear friend, Deborah “Debbie” Barringer.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, July 30th, from 5-7 PM at the Donaldson Funeral Home P.A., 313 Talbott Ave, Laurel, MD 20707

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the ALS Association, a cause dear to her heart.
