Glenn Wayne Feagin

Glenn Wayne Feagin, 78, a Laurel resident for 41 years passed away on June 15, 2012 at his residence. He was born on September 8, 1933 in Paul, Alabama to the late Jesse and Eunice Feagin. He attended University of Alabama for two years and continued at University of Maryland where he received a Bachelor's degree in Military Studies . Glenn served as an officer in the U.S. Army's Army Security Agency for 20 years, with service in the Philippines, Korea, Turkey, South Africa, Germany, and Vietnam. His awards included the Bronze Star, Legion of Merit, and Meritorious Service Medal. Following his retirement from the Army, he was a founding partner of Melbourne, Feagin, & Hammersmith Real Estate Company. He was working for Long & Foster at the time of his death. He was a Freemason and a member of Dean Lodge #112 in Brooklyn, Alabama, and a member of the Phoenix Society, Laurel Board of Trade, and First Baptist Church of Laurel. Glenn loved to travel and enjoyed outdoor activities.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Barbara V. Feagin; children Glenn W. Feagin, Jr., Jeffery M. Feagin, Laura Feagin Dellane, and Kevin S. Feagin. He is also survived by his sister Elinor Johnson, 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
