Celebration of Life for a Loving Mother and Grandmother

Grace Ayodele Famure, 71 of Beltsville, Maryland USA died
after a brief illness on December 28, 2016 at Washington Adventist Hospital, Takoma Park, Maryland USA.  Born on April 6, 1945 in Orin-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria, she is predeceased by her parents Mr.& Mrs. Thaddeus Dada, and Dr. Oluwole Michael Famure of Orin-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria, her late husband of over 40 years.

Grace was known for her deep care of family and of others, which was exemplified by her roles as both a homemaker and a health worker in retirement homes during her earlier career in Canada and the United States. Over the years in Nigeria she was a successful businesswoman in the agricultural sector. In her forever-caring nature, she had recently opted to join her daughter Simbo Famure in assisting her in the raising of her children; a role she proudly took on over the past decade. Her witty demeanor and ability to make everyone around her laugh were some of her strong attributes.  She will be sorely missed.

Survivors include her children, Lola Famure of Calgary Alberta, Canada, Segun Famure of Toronto, Ontario, Canada and Simbo Famure of Beltsville Maryland USA; as well as her grandchildren, Morayo, Deji and Samara Ayodele.
