Harry Robert Hofmann, 70, of Mt. Airy, Maryland, passed away on September 6, 2016. Born on June 2, 1946, in Laurel, Maryland, he was the son of John C. Hofmann Jr. and Shirley M. Hofmann. He is survived by son Harry Robert Hofmann II and wife, Wendy; son, Devon Russell Vanecek and wife, Christina; sister Nena Miller and husband, Richard; sister Gina Klatte, and husband Dennis, and sister Cindy Zack, and husband Bob; and three grandchildren, Tyler, Tiffany, and Tameron Hofmann; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Harry was well respected within his community, serving many years in construction, a former mechanic for the Air Force National Guard, and an avid camper and boat enthusiast. A viewing will be held at Donaldson Funeral Home PA.at 313 Talbott Ave., Laurel, MD 20707 from 3 - 6 pm on Saturday, September 10; Funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 11 at 3pm in the chapel at Donaldson Funeral Home, PA.
