In Memoriam Harvey Franklin Unger, Jr.
Mr. Unger passed on August 8, 2016 born May 22, 1933, age 83 of natural causes in his sleep.
He was a U.S. Army veteran who served during the Korean War. After returning to civilian life he became a successful jockey and rode across the country. He retired after 13 years due to an injury. He then entered the civil service with the United States Postal Service and retired after 30 years.
He is survived by his daughter Lee Ann Weber-Letle; son-in-law Alfred T. Letle; sister Anna Mae Levering; brothers Raymond Unger and Beanie Unger; several nieces and nephews; grandchildren Eric Weber, Daniel Weber and his wife Brianne, and three great grandchildren and former wife Verna Lee Frye.
