Mrs. Helen E. Armstrong, loving wife of the late John G. Armstrong, passed away on December 30, 2014. Helen was born in Baltimore, on March 24, 1922, to the late Lewis and Cora Sullivan. She was a home maker and a life-long resident of Laurel. Helen is survived by her daughters Joanne Allnut, Susan Armstrong and Christine Rembold and her son John Armstrong. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Helen was also predeceased by her son David Armstrong and her sister Patsy Scaggs.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 1, 2015, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A., 313 Talbott Avenue, Laurel, where services will be held on Friday, beginning at 2 pm. Interment will be in the Emmanuel United Methodist Church cemetery in Scaggsville, MD.
