Helen Sophia Boswell

On Friday, November 22, 2013, Helen Sophia (Gernoittis) Boswell, beloved wife of the late John W. Boswell, Sr. passed away at her home. She is the loving mother of Regina C. Scott, John W. Boswell, Jr., Joseph E. Boswell and James H. Boswell. Mrs. Boswell is also survived by her sister Pauline Shephard, 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her daughter Rose Marie Eddins. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, beginning at 11 am, at the Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A., 313 Talbott Ave., Laurel, MD. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Burtonsville, MD. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 801 Roeder Rd., Ste. 800, Silver Spring, MD 20910.
