Helen Mae Earp

Helen Mae Earp, 98, of Savage, Md for the last 75 years passed away on December 12, 2011 at her residence. She was born on May 2, 1913 to the late Calvin Ross and Sadie Mae Ramsburg. She was a homemaker and very active in the Guilford and Savage United Methodist Churches. She was a member of the Homemaker Club and president of the Savage Elementary School PTA and first secretary of the Howard County PTA. She was an active supporter and field coordinator for multiple charities. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband J. Raymond Earp, Sr. in 1995. She is survived by her daughter Evaline and her husband Clayton, son John R. Earp, Jr; grandchildren Jack and Travis Earp, Warren Miller, Kimberly Stull, Wendy Miller, and Kristi Ahlquist, 11 great grandchildren, her nieces Jennie Sue Jones and Dorothy Stull, close friend Mildred Wolfe and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 pm at DONALDSON FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 313 Talbott Avenue, Laurel, MD 20707. Funeral services will be held on Friday, 11:00 am at The United Methodist Church of Savage, 9050 Baltimore Street, Savage, MD 20763. Interment will be at Poplar Springs Cemetery in Mt. Airy. Memorial donations may be made to The United Methodist Church of Savage.
