Helena C. Hall

Helena C. Hall,80, of Laurel passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at Cherry Lane Nursing Center. She was born on November 29, 1931 in Baltimore to the late Lafayette and Christeen Conway. She spent most of her life in Baltimore City and attended St. Phillips Lutheran and All Saints Lutheran Churches. She went to Dunbar High School and received her High School Equivalency at Baltimore County Community College. She worked for Hutzler's department stores and later as a ward clerk for Provident, Good Samaritan, and Levindale Hospitals. She enjoyed reading, crossword and jigsaw puzzles, music, dancing, and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was prceded in death by her husband of 55 years Lester Hall. She is survived by her children Valeriese Ransom, Cheryl Hall, Lamont Hall, Eric Hall, and Armon Hall; sister Barbara Conway; sisters-in-law Gwendolyn Conway, Emma Mont, and Earline Cartwright. Helena is also survived by a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and family.
