Herbert Proctor Massie

Herbert Proctor Massie, 64, of Columbia, Maryland passed away on December 27, 2012 at his residence. He was born on November 19, 1948 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Samuel Proctor, Jr. and Gloria Belle Massie. He was a graduate of Haverford College, a school on the mainline in Philadelphia, PA. He worked as a Washington, D.C. Police Officer. He then attended Duke Law School and practiced in the state of Alabama and worked as a law clerk for a federal judge.
He is survived by his twin brother James Proctor Massie and younger brother Samuel (Trei) Proctor Massie, III. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date at St. Philip's Episcopal Church in Laurel.
