Irene Helen Copeland affectionately known as Mom or Nana passed away in Washington, DC on May 11, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late Bryan Copeland. Devoted mother of Kelly Copeland and the late Kari Copeland. Dear grandmother of Gavin, Jordan and Logan. Loving sister of Jim, Joe, Helen, Alyce and the late Joanie. Irene served as a clerk for the Circuit Court of Montgomery County for many years. She attended St. Nicholas Catholic Church . Irene loved her Ravens and telling stories to her her grandkids that she loved so much.
