J. Robert Rich

J. Robert Rich, a resident of Estero, Florida passed away on April 18, 2017 at ManorCare Nursing Home in Ft. Myers, FL.  He was 90.  He was born on October 6, 1926 to the late Wilmer and Virgie Rich in Burtonsville, MD.  On November 29, 1959, he became a saved Christian under Pastor Kelly of Spencerville Free Methodist Church.   He was the founder and owner of Rich Dairy Products Inc. starting in 1969.  Upon his retirement in 1992, his son took over the business and it is still in operation today.   He was also a long term member of Marshfield Country Club in Marshfield, MA.

Robert is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Barbara Rich; loving children John R. Rich, Jr., Linda A. Rich, and Janet Rich Diotalevi; cherished grandchildren Jennifer Rich Petty, John R. Rich, III, James M. Rich, Jessica G. Brady, and Michael S. Diotalevi; and 5 great-grandchildren.
