James Lawrence Burgess

James Lawrence Burgess, Sr. a resident of Odenton, MD, passed away on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center at the age of 91. James was born on August 10, 1921 in Washington D.C. and was the son of the late Charles E. Burgess and Myrtle L. nee Gragan Burgess.
James is survived by his loving daughter, Susan King of Odenton, MD; two devoted sons, Charles Gary Burgess of Bowie, MD and Michael Burgess of San Diego, CA; two dear sisters, Gertrude Luckel and Marian Roberts; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren. James was preceded in death by his wife, Tina A. Burgess and son, James L. Burgess, Jr.
A Memorial Service will be held at Holy Rosary Italian Catholic Church, 595 3rd Street, Northwest, Washington, D.C. 20001 at a later date.
