Curran, Sr., James Russell passed away on Monday, October 3, 2016 at is residence in Laurel, MD. Mr. Curran was born on November 2, 1941 to the late Paul H. Curran, Sr. and the late Alda A. Fedline Curran.
James was was has lived his entire life in the Baltimore/Washington area; growing up in Fairland area of Montgomery County and residing in the Beltsville/Laurel area most of his adult life. He enjoyed fishing and watching football. James loved football but hated the Washington Redskins. James rooted for the Dallas Cowboys and whoever was playing the Redskskins. James owned and operated a welding business and was known as “Shorty th e Welder”.
Mr. Curran is survived by his wife of 54 years; Carol Curran. He was the father of Jim Curran, Jr. of Greenbelt, Md and the late Paul K. Curran. James was also the brother of Robert H. Curran and the late Paul H. Curran, Jr.
