James B. "Jb" Burford

James Bayard Burford, Sr., age 94, of Silver Spring, MD, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, June 17, 2014. He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Dorothy, sons James Jr. (Anne), Rodney (Patti), daughter Jo Anna MacMullen (Tom), 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends at Donaldson Funeral Home, 313 Talbott Avenue, Laurel, MD, on Friday, June 20, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Emmanuel UMC, 10755 Scaggsville Road, Laurel, MD, on Saturday, June 21, at 11:00 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery will follow the service.
