James Harry Lawrence

James Harry Lawrence, 90, of Highland, MD passed away on May 6, 2013 at Howard County General Hospital. He was born on March 18, 1923 to the late Herman and Mary Lawrence in Baltimore, MD. He was a resident of Laurel for 30 years then moved to be with his son's family. He was a graduate of Johns Hopkins University in 1951. He served in the U.S. Air Force as a Fighter Pilot in WWII and retired as Colonel after 30 years. After his military career, he began working as a Publisher for NADA Used Car Guide and retired after 30 years. He enjoyed boating, flying, and photography.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years Evelyn Gear Lawrence. He is survived by his son Eric G. Lawrence and his wife Karin and grandchildren. Please contact Eric for funeral service information.
