James Jewett Street

James Jewett Street, Sr.,90, passed away on December 3, 2012 at his residence in Hyattsville, MD. He was born on August 15, 1922 to the late Emmett and Esther Street in Roanoke, Virginia. He was a resident of Teaneck, New Jersey for 25 years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Walter, Douglas, and Paul Street and his sister Julia Willis. He is survived by his wife of 70 years Helen Street; children James J. Street, Jr., Christine S. Street, and Julia D. Street-Jones; brothers John and Mervin Street; grandchildren Joshua, Haleen, Chaka, Chakia, Rade`, Victoria and Melissa; and great-grandchildren Dyashua, Kiana, LaTiya, Samirah.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 10, 2012 from 10-11 am at DONALDSON FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 313 Talbott Avenue, Laurel, MD 20707 where funeral services will begin at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at George Washington Cemetery in Adelphi, MD.
