Janis Robison

Jan Robison, a former Laurel City Councilwoman, passed away at the Laurel Regional Hospital on March 4, 2013. Mrs. Robison served the City of Laurel for 9 years as Council Woman with interests in public safety and children's advocacy. She was a homemaker, a member of the Laurel Presbyterian Church, member of the Women's Club and was involved with Stand for Children. Jan is survived her loving husband, of 40 years, John C. Robison; her loving son John R. Robison; brother John E. Leasure and aunts Lucinda McManaway and Edith McGlinchy. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 9, at the Laurel Presbyterian Church, 7610 Sandy Spring Rd., Laurel, beginning at 11 am.
