Jeanette J. Barr

Jeanette Joan Barr, 73, died December 4th with her family by her side at John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.

Jeanette is survived by her son, Donald Barr, Jr. and his wife Denise Sayer, her daughter, Patty Lang and her husband Chris Lang and her grandchildren Samantha and Christopher Lang.  Jeanette was a loving mother and friend who loved to spend time with her family.  She loved her dog, Cricket and spending time at the beach.

Jeanette worked at Sunset Hills Foliage for over 25 years as a purchasing agent and administrator.  She was an active member of the St. Mary of the Mill's parish, a volunteer for the Ladies of Charity, and a supporter of the Elizabeth House in Laurel.

In lieu of flowers, you may send donations to the Ladies of Charity at St. Mary of the Mill's or to the Elizabeth House in Laurel.

A memorial service will be held at St. Mary’s of the Mills located in Laurel, Maryland on Wednesday, December 9th at 10:30am with a reception immediately following.
