Jeannie M. Stewart

Jeannie M. Stewart, a resident of Laurel, MD and a former resident of Harmony, PA passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2014. Mrs. Stewart was born in New Brighton, PA, on October 11, 1952, to Genevieve and the late Charles Leonburg. She was a member of the Savage United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir, and worked as a caregiver at the Cedar Lane School in Howard County, MD. In addition to her mother, Mrs. Stewart is survived by her children Dawna, Butch and Jeff Stewart; sisters JoAnn (Dave) Minett, Jackie (Bill) Rindle, Judy (Doug) Frederick; brothers Chuck (Kimberly) Leonburg and Chris Leonburg. She is also survived by her grandchildren Kimberly Stewart, James Musicant and Dalton Stewart. Jeannie was predeceased by her beloved husband Harry "Wes" Stewart, Sr. A visitation will be held on Sunday at the Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A., 313 Talbott Ave., Laurel, MD from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A visitation will also be held on Monday from 10 am until 11 am at the Savage United Methodist Church, where services will begin at 11 am. Interment will be private.
