Jeffry Alan Brown, Sr.

Jeffry Alan Brown, Sr. born November 26,1954 passed away on Friday September 18, 2015 in Laurel.

Jeff was born in Laurel to Marion and Mary Lou Brown. He grew up in Ilchester, he attended OLPH School where he was in the top 10% in Math in the State of Maryland. He graduated from Howard High School in 1972.

He had a heart of gold and he was a hard worker. He did not know a stranger, he talked to everyone.  If he was not working you could find him in his lazy boy recliner or cooking chicken on the grill. He was a licensed journeyman who worked for Total Refrigeration as a service technician. Jeff enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, especially his grandchildren that knew him as “Poppy”.

Loving survivors include his mother, Mary Lou; his son, Jeffry Brown Jr. and his wife Samantha; two daughters, Rebecca Brown and her husband Michael Mason and Nicole Brown; six grandchildren; two sisters; four brothers; a step sister and step brother. Also surviving are several loving nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father, a step mother, step brother and a grandchild.

Services will be held Saturday September 26, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with a visitation from 1:00 pm until the time of services at the Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A. in Laurel.
