Jerome Francis Burke

Jerome “Jerry” Francis Burke, loving husband to Mary M. Burke for 52 years, passed away on March 5, 2018. He was born on June 4, 1942, in Scranton, PA, to the late John and Mary Burke. Mr. Burke was a resident of Laurel, MD for 42 years and was a member of St. Mary of the Mills Catholic Church. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and was a highly respected member of the paint industry, having been involved for 50 years. He also owned The Paint Stores from 1986 – 1996.

In addition to his wife, Jerry is survived by his children Jerry (Penny) Burke, Joanne (Timmy) Roarty, Danny (Amber) Burke and Johnny (Kara) Burke; grandchildren Michael, Joseph, Christian, Shannon, Grace, Anna and Johnny. Jerry is also survived by his sisters Mary Ellen Kelly and Cathy Sienkiewicz. His sister Barbara Fogley preceded him in death.

A memorial visitation will be held at the Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A., on Friday March 9, from 4 until 7 pm.
